Who We Are

When people see our name, they want to know our story.  Is this a love statement? Yes, and… He Saw Her Paint was born

He Saw Her Paint was born in 2002, along with our daughter Sienna. Yes, Sienna is named after a color!

As we created a family, we also recreated our business, merging our two previously separate companies ARB Construction (1990) + A Castle Painting in (1995).

What We Do

What We Do

We paint house interiors: walls, ceilings, trim, windows, doors, stairs, cabinetry, bookshelves…..

After a 30-year career as a carpenter, Roger has also honed his painting skills. He has a small shop that is set up to spray finishes which we use to repaint cabinets, doors, bookshelves, and trim elements. Due to the high demand for our painting services, Roger’s carpentry is limited to very select projects but primarily to those of our paint customers.

Her Paint

Color Selection-
There are several approaches to helping a customer choose the right color. Abby is a big fan of painting large color samples directly onto the wall so that you can experience what it feels like to live with the color from morning to night-time light. If a color is not quite right, Abby can often times use the universal tints to adjust the color of a paint.

There is a language to color:

Hue- Which general color you choose.

Value – How dark or light the color should be.

Saturation - How bright (raw) or muted a color might be.

Not only are there the three attributes above that change how a color looks.  There is consideration of all other objects in the room that relate to this color.  Everything has a color.   Balance of warms and cools, darks and lights need to be considered when adding color to a room.

Our Impact

The space around us is very important. We understand that your home is your refuge. We also understand in a broader sense that as you expand that concept of “home,” we are in a relationship with each other bigger than neighborhood, county, state, and country. Furthermore, we are all citizens of the world and are responsible for caring for each other and the planet we live on.

He Saw Her Paint is a small business specializing in interior/exterior carpentry services and interior painting.
