“When it came to picking paint, Abby’s enthusiasm was infectious — she really believes in the importance of color. I felt that she listened to me and developed a very good understanding of my personal taste; she had as much passion about “getting it right” as I did. Abby made sure that the colors we chose worked with the existing tile, fireplace, and woodwork – this is something I could not have achieved on my own and it really shows. Also, Abby’s high quality of painting made us appreciate architectural details about the house we hadn’t noticed before, and she seemed to erase a lot of imperfections. Roger resolved all of our idiosyncrasies (broken door jams, sink installation and repair), and put the finishing touches (proper hanging of art, mirrors, and shelves; hanging of blinds). By the time they were done, we had a “finished” house that felt like our own.

They were efficient, very detail oriented, incredibly neat, flexible when we asked her to make changes to our request (e.g. use zero VOC paint), recommended paint colors and suggested using a different shade on our doors which made a very subtle but nice change in our hallways. He worked with us giving valuable input, but also making sure the decisions were ours. “We love working with Abby, she is creative, positive, full of enthusiasm and has a great eye for color. We had some really ugly stairs that she painted a stencil pattern on that now look great and are a work of art as well! In addition, we were having trouble trying to decide what colors to paint our new kitchen, because the floor, cabinets and counter tops were very difficult to coordinate. She custom mixed a color for the kitchen that worked perfect (eggplant purple) and was something that we never would have come up with on our own. Abby is truly gifted.”
